Most of the food is excellent. Sometimes we find it a bit too salty. Also, often there is more than enough food for 2 people. Otherwise we are very happy. We hope our service will start again this Monday Aug. 9.

Meals tasty

Have found the meals tasty so far and instructions straight forward. We don’t order the pasta dishes as we prefer those we make better. Really enjoy the tacos.

Great variety and tasty food

I love the vegetarian recipes we get, they cover a wide range of tastes. My biggest complaint would be sometimes the produce doesn't last more than a couple of days so you need to cook things fast

Skip the restaurant

Great kits at at affordable rates. It’s a refreshing change of menus to get you out of the what shall we have for dinner tonight just grab a bag and voila a restaurant quality meal . The only issue is I will never get out to eat anymore .

I recently moved, and to have these boxes delivered and have almost all the ingredients handy was so convenient! And they are meals I wouldn't normally make for myself, so it was great to try new things!

mostly all is good

mostly all is good, just a couple of times not all ingredients in bag and squished produce, but mostly good. I ran to the local grocery store and picked up what was missing and made supper.

So far we have had 7 weeks of Chefs plate. We started on 3 meals per week for 4, even though it's just 2 of us, as we wanted to have the option of having people for dinner, or leftovers. It's ALOT of food - but none is ever wasted! Your bags contain just the right amounts! And ALL the meals are delicious and easy to prepare with the step by step picture guide. We now just order 3 meals a week for 2, but as you order by the week ahead, it's easy to change. Can honestly say we save alot of money on groceries and find we waste far less food. Such a great way to ensure you have dinner thought about, groceries bought etc, for the week! Love ya chefs plate.

Meals a success with my family!

The meal kits always come with a great instruction sheet along with images so you can easily see how to complete the meal. I have not ordered a meal that my family hasn't loved and the quick prep time really helps at the end of my work day. Customer service has also been great when I needed to contact them about a challenge. I recommend Chefs Plate to my friends to try and most have become regular customers like me. 5 stars

I like the food

I like the food, so far. What I don’t like is how to cancel the order for a week. I don’t know how. It’s not easy. I am not tech savvy and I was very annoyed at not being able to navigate this part of the plan. It made me feel like I was being manipulated into buying more than I wanted or needed or could afford. It made me want to cancel the whole plan and that’s a shame because the food was very good.

2 weeks in and loving it

All the food has been great. I wish you could substitute the jasmine rice for just white or brown rice. I’m a little concerned with the ice packs and cloth cooler bag in every box. Are any of these recyclable?! Seems like so much waste every week. I also wish there was a three portion option. 4 is too much for my family of three. Even with my husband taking leftovers to work the next day.

So far the food has been good! I feel like I’m dirtying every dish in my house during prep time, but otherwise I like the tips and tricks for cooking methods. I’ll likely implement much of these strategies into my own cooking in the future!

having been fairly new to chefs plate… having been fairly new to chefs plate and as somebody who absolutely loves food this has got to be the most easiest, convenient and inexpensive way to purchase food. I find it hard to find the time to make a variety that chefs plate offers.

Price is too high for my taste, but still believe it's the best out of all similar services. I would continue ordering boxes if it stayed at the discount prices, in the meantime, I only activate my account when discounts are offered.

Chef's Plate provides a number of meal…

Chef's Plate provides a number of meal options ranging from mild to very spicy. As I am a single male who has not cooked much in the past I find the instructions extremely useful. The products are fresh and are delivered with ice packs so there is minimal likely hood of the items spoiling, if I am not home at the delivery time. Considering the extensive packaging, I am concerned that the icepacks and insulated bag are not returnable. I do use my local re-cycling facility but it would be an improvement if there was a way to return them.

We Love It, but .... there's always a but

We've been buying Chef's Plate for a few months now. We are saving money on groceries and saving time by having meal plans ready. The vegetables are quite fresh. If we had a complaint it would be the meat. The pork is good. The fish is good. But, there is something now quite right with the Chicken, Ground Turkey and Ground Beef. We find the consistency chewy or rubbery. The only other touch that would be nice for people trying to track their nutritional intake would be to have the food broken down into well stated single serving sizes on the packaging. You get "As Shipped" and "As Prepared" on the bags, which would seem to indicate that the latter chart should be for two portions, but if you look on the website the same breakdown for "As Prepared" says "Per Serving" with the same nutritional values as on the bag. It would be nice to know which it actually is. If it's "Per Serving" and not "Per 2 Servings" we will have to rethink this as most meals would have between 800 and 1000 calories per serving, as much fat as a Big Mac and as much sodium as a salt lick. I realize this food isn't Weight Watchers, but if you could please work towards making this breakdown more accurate it would be a big help. Thanks.

I love Chefs Plate

I love Chefs Plate! I feel like I'm eating out with every meal and cooking has been a breeze. I've never enjoyed cooking... to be honest I still don't but the recipes are so easy to follow and having the ingredients perfectly portioned makes the task so simple!!! Also, myself and my daughter have been trying things we never would have attempted before so that is a definite plus!

I love love love getting my chefs plate…

I love love love getting my chefs plate it’s the highlight of my week. I’ve tried a lot of different things that I normally wouldn’t eat/make at home and have enjoyed them. The meals are quick and easy to prepare and it has knocked my takeout bill down to almost nothing. I do have to say the downside is a lot of the time my fresh veggies are a wilted and not crisp and at least 4/5 times I had to replace the meat because it had gone bad before the expiration date on the packaging this is disappointing to say the least but I still continue to order because i do enjoy the meals
